My name is Dave Concannon and I’m an Irish software guy based in Berkeley, California. Why the ridiculous domain name? First thing to pop into my head that was catchier than my own name.
By day I work on a variety of software projects from simple content sites and SaaS apps, to large enterprise applications in a variety of languages, market segments, and stages of completion. I’ve taken several sites from nothing but a raw idea to millions of user visits a month, and I love what I do.
This blog focuses on the things I’m interested in: Entrepreneurship, Lean Startups, Customer Development, and The Business of Software.
For fun I train in Brazilian Jiujitsu, surf badly, and construct ambitious gastronomic delights. A fed Dave is a happy Dave. I also curate the Lean Startup Feed, a list of all the best writers and thinkers on the subject of Lean Startups and Customer Development. It’s recently been updated to include some great Venture Capital writers too.
